Code Enforcement enforces a broad range of public health and safety regulations including public nuisance, abandoned vehicles and other codes that are designed to maintain a healthy, safe and clean environment, carry out land use policy, and preserve the quality of life standards that residents and businesses enjoy in our community.

To report a code violation:

By Phone: 803-441-4221. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. After hours and/or on holidays and weekends, please leave a detailed message of the complaint and a contact number if you wish to have follow-up contact.

Online: Submit an online complaint using our Online Code Compliance Complaint Form below. Please Include:

  • Specific address or detailed location of the code violation
  • Detailed description of the code violation

Code Enforcement will accept anonymous complaints.  However, we are unable to provide follow-up contact for anonymous complaints. All complaints received are subject to The Freedom of Information Act records requests.
