The Capital Projects Sales Tax is a one cent added sales tax that provides funding for multiple projects that support the health, safety, and well-being of the citizens of North Augusta.

Capital Projects Sales Tax IV

In November of 2018, the Citizens of Aiken County approved a referendum to renew the existing 1-cent local options sales tax not to exceed 7 years. Collections will begin in May 2019. The following projects have been approved with budgeted amounts and are in priority order as determined by the City Council.

Capital Projects Sales Tax III

In November 2010, the Citizens of Aiken County approved a referendum to renew the existing 1-cent local options sales tax not to exceed 7 years. The City has collected a total of $20,590,404.76 (includes the $3 million from Aiken County and interest) as of September 30, 2021.
