Welcome to the Central Savannah River Area

Whether this is your first time moving here or returning home for good, the City of North Augusta would like to welcome you to the CSRA. We are committed to providing our residents with a great place to live, to play, and to grow. Below, you'll find some information and links that we think might be helpful for anyone new to the area.

Location

North Augusta lies just across the Savannah River from downtown Augusta, Georgia.

Things To Do!

The North Augusta Greeneway is the jewel of the city and is easily accessed from several places. It currently stretches 12.5 miles from north of I-20 all the way to Georgia Avenue with several branches that reach out and connect to neighborhoods along the way. It also passes through Riverview Park, Hammond's Ferry, Riverside Village (home of SRP Park, the GreenJackets stadium) and coming in 2021, a downtown North Augusta connector.

The Nike Peach Jam is one of the annual sporting events to check out in North Augusta. There's also the Living History Park, The Center for Arts & Heritage, the Jack-o-Lantern Jubilee, numerous road races and much more. Our calendar has a list of upcoming City-sponsored events.
