Free, on-street parking is available in downtown North Augusta. Some downtown merchants and churches  provide surface lot parking for visitors and patrons, but these lots are not controlled by the city.

Many parts of the Greeneway have free on-street parking available adjacent to the pathway. 

Free parking lots are available to access Greeneway trailheads, located at the following locations:

1. 100 Riverside Boulevard, opposite the entrance drive to the River Golf Club, Water Works Park, Butterfly Garden, & Bark Park location. 
2. Riverview Park Activities Center, 100 Riverview Park Drive. 
3. Martintown Road Bridge Parking Lot, 700 W. Martintown Road. Next to the Rapids neighborhood.  
4. 2043-2055 Pisgah Road parking lot, next to Sprint Gas statiioin
5. Bergen Road Parking Lot, just north of I-20. 

Free, surface lot parking is available to visitors of the Municipal Building (located at 100 Georgia Avenue). Overflow parking is available for free in the Medac Parking Garage across the street from the Municipal Building. Access to the parking garage is off of Center Street.

The Riverside Village area is the only location in the City that has paid public parking requirements. Below is a list of parking options, with associated restrictions and fees. Paid parking signage is posted at the entrance of Riverside Village at Railroad Street (both ends), Center Street and Front Street. 

Street Parking:

Short term parking available on street. Payment for on-street parking is accepted at 21 meters posted throughout the via area with coin or card at meter or through the Park Smarter smartphone app. On-street parking restrictions and fees are as followed:

• 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – no parking restrictions or fees required
• 2:00 – 12:00 a.m. – payment required: $1 per hour, 2 hour parking maximum
• 12:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m. – no street parking allowed

Garage Parking:

Short and long term parking is available in two parking garages: The hotel parking deck and the stadium parking deck. Both parking garages are located on Railroad Avenue. At both parking garages, visitors take a ticket upon entering and pay at gate with card upon leaving. Parking rates for both garages are as follows:

• First two hours – FREE
• Third hour – $3
• Fourth hour and beyond – $1 per hour
• $10 max per day
• Parking rates during special events and GreenJackets baseball games will vary; pricing will be posted at the garage entry

Parking Lots: Surface parking lots are privately owned, marked and towing is enforced.

Parking Enforcement:

• North Augusta Public Safety Officers patrol and enforce all city ordinances and laws in Riverside Village, including paid parking enforcement through parking citations.
• Towing companies enforce parking in privately-owned surface lots per the property owner's discretion.

 

Free, surface lot parking is available at the North Augusta Boat Ramp for boaters, kayakers and other individuals seeking to put in and navigate the Savannah River. The North Augusta Boat Ramp is located at the end of Hammond's Ferry Road, near the Hammond's Ferry Soccer Complex (100 Hammond's Ferry Rd.).
