The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has discovered a slope failure on East Buena Vista Avenue that threatens the integrity of the roadway. Effective Wednesday June 26, 2019 SCDOT will be closing East Buena Vista Avenue between Atomic Road and Martintown Road to repair the damaged slope. The road will be closed until further notice.

The .75-mile detour will direct traffic from East Buena Vista Avenue to SC 125 Atomic Road and SC 230 Martintown Road. 

While this closure will be an inconvenience to the community, SCDOT pledges to expedite the completion of this repair.
