The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) is a five member quasi-judicial board that hears appeals regarding administrative decisions, variances, and special exception uses.  The BZA generally meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m

PUBLIC NOTICE

Conditional Use Administrative Hearing

 

In accordance with §5.5 of the North Augusta Development Code, the Director of Planning and Development will hold an administrative hearing for a Conditional Use Permit at 10:15 AM on November 1, 2023 in the Planning and Development conference room located on the 2nd floor of the North Augusta Municipal Center, 100 Georgia Avenue, to consider the following application:

CU23-009– A request by Mavis Tire Supply, LLC for a Conditional Use Permit to allow for an automobile tire center on ±0.82 acres located at 407 E. Martintown Rd., a portion of Tax Parcel Number 007-12-06-034, zoned GC, General Commercial and within the HC, Highway Corridor Overlay District.

Those interested in expressing a view on the request are encouraged to attend or submit comments. Comments will be collected via email at planning@northaugustasc.gov until 5 p.m. on October 31, 2023.  Documents related to the application will be available at the Planning and Development Department, 2nd floor, 100 Georgia Avenue, after October 27, 2023 or online at https://www.northaugustasc.gov/government/city-departments/planning-development
