City Council Meetings

City Council meetings are open to the public and held the first and third Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the third floor of the Municipal Building, 100 Georgia Avenue North Augusta, SC. City Council Study Sessions are held the Monday prior to the Council meeting at 6:00 p.m.  City Council meetings and Study Sessions are streamed for public viewing at "City of North Augusta - Public Information" on www.Facebook.com and "City of North Augusta Public Information"  on www.Youtube.com.  

Addressing the City Council

The Mayor and City Council welcome your comments. The Mayor will call for comments prior to City Council discussing each item on the agenda.  Citizens may speak to Mayor and City Council regarding matters not listed on the agenda at the end of each meeting.   Mayor and City Council also hosts Public Power Hour, a "listening opportunity", for citizens to speak  prior to the first City Council meeting of each month at 5:30 p.m.

Agendas and discussion items for City Council meetings are generally posted the Friday before each Monday evening Council Meeting or Study Session.

Minutes

City Council meeting minutes are available online after Council approval.  City Council meetings and Study Sessions are streamed for public viewing at "City of North Augusta - Public Information" on www.Facebook.com and "City of North Augusta Public Information"  on www.Youtube.com.  

Americans with Disabilities Act

In compliance with the American with Disabilities Act, if you need assistance to gain access to, comment at, or participate in the meeting, please contact the City Clerk at (803) 441-4202. If possible, notification at least 48 hours prior to the meeting will enable the City to make arrangements in most cases.

Jack O Lantern Jubilee

The Jack O’ Lantern Jubilee returns this October for two big days of music and fun. This year’s festivities will kick off Friday, October 27, with seven-time GRAMMY winner, TobyMac. On Saturday, October 28, we welcome Sister Hazel to the main stage. Along with excellent entertainment, we will also feature craft and food vendors along with plenty of activities for the kids. Make plans to join us for this festive occasion!

TobyMac
With seven GRAMMY Awards and more than 16 million units in career sales, singer, rapper, and record producer, TobyMac, has had a significant impact on contemporary Christian music during his storied solo career, as well as during his time with trio dc Talk. Between dc Talk and his solo work, TobyMac has sold over 10 million albums.

Sister Hazel
Originating from Gainesville, FL, Sister Hazel is comprised of five gifted, seasoned musicians whose well-spring of natural talent has been called “one of the Top 100 Most Influential Independent Performers of the last 15 years” by Performing Songwriter Magazine. Song “All for You” topped the adult alternative charts during the summer of 1997 and the success propelled their album to platinum status. Since rising to the top of the Alternative charts, the band has also established a presence in country and Americana music.
