The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) is a five member quasi-judicial board that hears appeals regarding administrative decisions, variances, and special exception uses.  The BZA generally meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m

Conditional Use Administrative Hearing

In accordance with §5.5 of the North Augusta Development Code, the Director of Planning and Development will hold an administrative hearing for a Conditional Use Permit at 10 AM on March 14, 2023 in the Planning and Development conference room located on the 2nd floor of the North Augusta Municipal Center, 100 Georgia Avenue, to consider the following application:

CU23-002– A request by the City of North Augusta for a Conditional Use Permit to allow for a public safety headquarters on ±4.62 acres located at 1208 Georgia Avenue, Tax Parcel Numbers 007-07-06-005, 007-07-06-004, and 007-07-06-003, zoned P, Public Use.

Those interested in expressing a view on the request are encouraged to attend or submit comments. Comments will be collected via email at planning@northaugustasc.gov until 5 p.m. on March 13, 2023.  Documents related to the application will be available at the Planning and Development Department, 2nd floor, 100 Georgia Avenue, after March 9, 2023 or online at https://www.northaugustasc.gov/government/city-departments/planning-development
